BILL STANIFORD

Bill Staniford is currently the CEO of 3D App Group Inc. and is a proptech pioneer who has worked in the industry for 20 years.

Before joining the 3D App, Bill served in both executive and advisory roles within the proptech space with a primary focus on creating unprecedented transparency through data collection, aggregation, creation, and manipulation.

Bill has achieved two successful exits during his career: PropertyShark, where Bill served as CEO, was sold to Yardi Systems in 2010, and RealtyCrunch, where Bill served as Strategic Advisor, was sold to The Real Brokerage (NASDAQ: REAX) in 2021.

In 2020, During his time as CEO of Rentigo, Bill successfully initiated and navigated a merger with Hello Rented to create the going concern Qira, which is currently providing fintech solutions to the multifamily industry.

Bill also served as the CEO of Urbint which conducted one of the first successful AI / Machine Learning projects using real estate data.

By marrying aggregated property data with inspection data from Con Edison, Urbint was able to streamline the effort to identify level 3 and level 4 corrosion on gas service lines in New York City in order to prevent gas explosions. With this one project Bill was able to take Urbint from zero to $1.1MM ARR overnight. Urbint has since been repositioned to a data company servicing the utilities industry.

Bill is a former US Marine Corps Cryptologist who worked in the drug war intercepting and decoding radio transmissions from Peru and Columbia.

Bill has his undergraduate degree in Evolutionary Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA in Small Business Management from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Bill is also a New York State licensed real estate instructor and has served as the co-chair of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Queens Chamber of Commerce from 2019 to 2023.
